Most of our lawn care programs are performed weekly, unless your needs are different. We typically begin our lawn mowing services in the 3^rd week in April and it continues through the first week in November, depending upon weather and growing conditions.

Our mowing plans include edging around your driveway and sidewalks to give your yard a nice sharp edge. We also trim around flower beds, trees, fences, curbs, and building foundations with a string line. Every job is completed by removing all clipping and debris from hard surfaces with a blower.

Unfortunately, watering and mowing your lawn alone will not make your lawn healthy. Your lawn also needs to be fertilized. Fertilizing should be done regularly to develop a full, thick, green lawn. We recommend a schedule of 5-7 fertilization treatments throughout the spring to fall months.

We recommend preventative weed control services and include them with most of our maintenance programs. Core aeration removes core plugs from the turf and deposits them on the ground to decompose back into the turf. The removal of these plugs improves the root system of our turf by allowing water, air, and fertilizer nutrients to enter the soil beneath the lawn. This is a very important part of lawn maintenance.

To keep your lawn healthy and thick, dethatching is highly recommended. We remove the building up of matted, dead material in the lawn (called thatch). This thatch harbors insects, fungus and prevents your turf from looking it’s best.

The difference between seeding and sodding is the time it takes for the grass to mature into beautiful turf. Seeding involves more time, while sodding is actually transplanting already mature turf for instant gratification.
